Elgato’s Wave Link 2.0 Brings AI-Powered Voice Enhancements for Crystal Clear Audio

Elgato has launched an updated version of its audio stream control software, Wave Link 2.0, introducing new AI-driven voice enhancements designed to improve mic quality in any environment. The updated software offers more powerful control over your audio streams, allowing you to route them to specific apps, split audio between you and your audience, apply audio effects, and mute channels with ease.
Wave Link 2.0 is available for download now and is compatible with Elgato’s range of hardware, including its microphones and the Stream Deck control system. This version also integrates a new partnership with AIcoustics, an audio machine learning company, to introduce "Voice Focus." This feature is designed to reduce background noise and address acoustic issues, ensuring professional-sounding audio, no matter your room's acoustics.
In addition to AI enhancements, Wave Link 2.0 supports various audio effects, and users can even add custom plugins to fine-tune their sound. However, to take full advantage of these features, you’ll need an Elgato microphone or a Stream Deck Plus.
The updated Wave Link software now operates similarly to SteelSeries GG, taking over the entire Windows audio management system. This gives you complete control to direct audio to specific destinations or group apps into single input channels, ensuring that certain audio always stays together. You can create custom buttons for the Stream Deck that allow quick volume adjustments for each stream you manage. It also displays a volume slider that can span multiple buttons, so you always know the current audio levels at a glance. Wave Link 2.0 also integrates seamlessly with Stream Deck footpads and the dials on the Stream Deck Plus, offering an enhanced control experience.
