Our journey began with a beautifully modern blend of arranged introduction and blossoming affection in India. What started as a family meeting quickly evolved into something deeper a partnership that would be tested by distance, cultural adaptation, and the demands of building medical careers across three countries.

The decision to leave India for medical training in the UK was our first major test. Making love work across time zones suddenly became less about geography and more about cultural adaptation. We were navigating an entirely different healthcare system while maintaining our cultural identity and growing relationships.

Balancing careers and marriage took on new complexity when both careers required complete rebuilding in a foreign land. The eventual move to America to rebuild a career as a female eye surgeon added another layer to our cultural marriage journeys. Success as a female surgeon in the USA required not just medical expertise, but the courage to persevere through systemic challenges while maintaining cultural connections and family values.

Our unique cultural background provided wellness and relationship inspiration that enriched both our personal and professional lives. We learned to blend Eastern wisdom with Western medical practices, creating a foundation that honored our heritage while embracing new opportunities.
